The Parties discussed cooperation in the development and reforming of legal profession and legal assistance, including free legal assistance, in Germany and Ukraine.
V. Zabarskyi called for broadening the working knowledge of legal profession in Germany, and exchange of experience of the lawyers´ activity, rights and obligations.
Considering the need of analyzing and introducing the changes in the system of legal profession, judiciary, and prosecution, participants of the sitting decided to organize the visit of the Committee members to the Federal Republic of Germany to study the state of legal profession in Germany, and visit the Federal Ministry of Justice, the Federal Chamber of Lawyers, and the German Bar Association.
